Monoisopropylamine (MIPA) is a colorless flammable liquid with an ammonia-like odor and is miscible with water, alcohol and ether. Monoisopropylamine (also called isopropylamine) is a versatile intermediate with a variety of applications. The main applications can be found in the field of Agricultural chemical: used to produce Glyphosate, Atrazine and other triazine herbicides, Bentazone. MIPA is also used to produce surfactants and active pharma ingredients.
